A Passage to India

Hey! Today i have a little text and som Q&A for you! Enjoy this exciting reading!

Mahana is slowly walking down the streets of New Delhi, she has just finished school for today. She has written a master degree and its going to evaluated today. She has some big concerns about getting a job. Yesterday she asked about a job in a large mobile firm, she is waiting for a call about the job, as she drifts down towards a Restaurant. The Restaurant is a nice restaurant with an expensive menu, she has a lot of money to use, her father is a rich and successful business man. She meets her friends at a table in the restaurant and sits down. Some minutes later the telephone rings! She smiles and every friend is wondering what it is about. Mahana hangs up and smiles! “I got the job!”, she yells. Mahana Is so happy, now she can relax and enjoy every day to the fullest without no woories of getting a job or not.
In India there are very hard to get a proper job, their technology has come very far but they cannot use it with so poor education that the country of India has. Many people in India are poor and more will come but somebody are lucky and one of them is Mahana!

1.      Look up the words “Rural” and “Urban” in a dictionary and find out what they mean.
Rural:
Living in the countryside and use whatever that grows there.
Urban: City environment.

2.      What are the difference between rural and urban areas in Norway? In India?
In india there are poor people that lives on the farms in the countryside. But in Norway we have rich farmers with a huge house and farm.

3.      “If everyone in the world consumed as much as people in industrialized countries do, we would need eight planets as big as the earth to meet their demands” Comment on this statement.
In the industrialized country’s we get enormous amounts of garbage that we throw away. In the end it is going to be too much for us to handle! If everyone used as much as we do it would be an overload of garbage everywhere.

4.      Some people in Europe and America have changed their way of life to “simple living” in eco-villages or small farms in rural areas. The basic idea is to go back to nature, produce your own food , share and live in closely-knit communities. Can you think of reasons why people choose this way of life?
I can think of a few reasons why. I think the people that choose to do this is people that are very sick of the top modern life in the cities. It had been very nice to let go of the smartphone and the computer to just live your life without any worries of social media warnings and so on! To live of the nature is much more relaxing and healthy than live in the city.

6.   What are your top three priorities in life?

My top three priorities is to get a good job, help other to get a better life and die like          king.

Q&A About the film "The immitation game"

Im back people! GOdd morning to you all!

When Alan and his colleagues cracks the Enigma code, they have to make sure the nazis do not find out what they have accomplished. What ethic choices does the Secret Service have to make to keep it a secret?
Do you agree with their choices? State the reasons for your answer.

When they crack the code, they find out where and when a attack is going to find place. They have to take a choice on telling the authorities about the incoming attack. However, they decide to stay quiet and let the attack to happen. Many lives is lost and they are sitting with an enormous gilt feeling. I totally agree with the choice they take, with that choice the war is ended. If Alan and his collagues had not taken the decision many more lives had get lost than just the people on the warships.
